From the Principal

My husband and I welcomed our seventh grandchild, Connor, into the world on Wednesday 13th June. We received the photos just minutes after the event, all the way from Kyoto, Japan! Even across the kilometres we could feel the love and joy that this precious baby has brought to our family.

The idea of family is extremely important to God. We can read about this in the Bible. God's plan was to create men and women ‘in His image’ to be part of His family. The Bible says it like this:

“ Long, long ago God decided to adopt us into His family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure He took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of His lavish gift-giving by the hand of His beloved Son.”
Ephesians 1:4-6.

A lot of the books in the Bible go on to explain how we can nurture and strengthen our family relationships. A lot of research backs up how important strong relationships are for your physical, mental and emotional well-being. At ACC we are seeking ways that we can work with our community to support and enrich our families. Whatever family you are part of, I pray God’s blessings over you. And feel free to pop into the office so I can show you the baby snaps.

Welcome

We want to welcome Evanda Heath and his family to ACC. Evanda started in Kindy this week, and we pray he and his family settle in well.

Did You Know?

The staff and students at ACC want to be good stewards of the environment, in a sustainable way. We live in a blessed country, and we want to take care of it so that it is available for future generations. Some ways we, at ACC, are contributing include setting up worm farms, planting veggie gardens, becoming an aluminium coffee pod and battery collection site, plus giving shredded paper to a local pet shop.

If you would like to be part of any of our sustainability projects, contact Joan in the front office.

Community Connection - End of Term Celebration

You, your family and friends, are invited to celebrate with us on Friday 30th June, the end of a successful Term 2. Let’s share food, friendship and fun together.

We will meet in the ACC undercovered area, and eat at 5.00pm, followed by some fun activities for all to enjoy. We ask you to bring a plate of food to share. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Enrolments for 2018

If you, or your friends, want your children to be part of the ACC community in 2018, we invite you to complete an enrolment form here. Places are available from Kindy to Year 6 (boys and girls).
